Oh My, I have an obsession. Vegetables. I can't get enough of them. Healthy veggies and the not so healthy veggies. So last night I made this amazing very cheesy cauliflower with a touch of biltong.
This was so amazingly cheesy ( I mean who doesn't love cheese, and if you don't I'm sorry we cannot be friends) and to top it off I added a little biltong powder for the extra meatiness and saltiness.
Cheesy Cauliflower:
What you will need:
2 heads of cauliflower ( Remove the leaves)
2 cups of grater cheddar cheese.
2 table spoons flour
2 table spoons butter
1 cup milk ( or more)
Aromat
Salt and Pepper
Biltong Powder.
Method:
1) Put your pot on the stove with boiling water and the cauliflower head.
2) Add a table spoon of salt to your cauliflower and leave it to cook.
3) In another pot, add your butter and flour and wait for it to melt together. Then add the milk and keep stirring until it makes a nice thick mixture. You can add more milk to increase the quantity.
4) Add half a cup of cheese to your sauce and keep on stirring.
5) Add salt and pepper for taste.
6) Put the stove on a lower temperature and stir occasionally.
7) When your cauliflower is done, break them apart with a fork. ( they will now look like little white trees)
8) Gently throw the excess water off. ( be careful not to burn)
9) Now add half a cup of cheese to your cauliflower and let it melt in.
10) Add your sauce to your cauliflower and mix it thoroughly without breaking the cauliflower more.
Now you can dish up, add your aromat spice, extra cheese and biltong powder and there you go! a wonderful, very easy vegetable dish that everybody will love.

Unfortunately I had to take these pictures at lunch today and couldn't get them last night as it was way to dark. Please let me know what you think of the dish, I would really love the feedback.
