So it's Sunday night and you've already had a big lunch, but now after your lovely nap.. THE HUNGER STRIKES. How about a delicious filled butternut with minced beef and cheese??? This is what we had tonight and I must say it was absolutely delicious. Here is the recipe for the ones that would like to try it.
What you will need.
1. Enough minced beef ( for two people)
2. One whole butternut.
3. Brown onion soup
4. One table spoon oil.
5. Grated Cheese.
6. A Microwave safe bowl
7. Boiling water.
8. Salt
Method:
1. Cut the butternut in half and remove the pits.
2. Boil your water and add it to your microwave safe bowl, add the butternut halves.
3. Put this in the microwave for 30 minutes.
4. Heat up your stove and add a pot with the oil in it to the stove.
5. Now add your mince.
6. When your mince is brown, add the brown onion soup ( which you should mix with water) to your mince
7. After 30 minutes, remove the butternut and add it to your baking pan, add the mince and the grated cheese.
8. Bake in the oven for another 30 minutes.
9. Dish up and enjoy.
